Kathleen Hunt

Mrs. Hunt's parents were the late Jesse Sherman & Mary Elizabeth Blanton Gillespie. In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by her husband John B. Hunt, two brothers; S. D. Gillespie and Dale Gillespie and a special aunt Julia J. Brooks.
Mrs. Hunt is survived by a daughter and her husband, Doris H. Wesson & John, a son and his wife Robert Lee Hunt & Rachel; five grandchildren, Laura Hamrick and her husband Mark, Jesse Hunt and wife Anna, Mary Blanton and husband Carl, Joe Wesson and wife Amber, Alice Pyron and husband Gene and eleven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Hunt was employed for many years by the O. Max Gardner Foundation and served as an officer and director. She later retired from the North Carolina Court System after serving 13 years as secretary to the Senior Resident Superior Court Judge. She was a life long member of Double Springs Baptist Church, a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class and the Maxie Kirk Bible Study Group. Mrs. Hunt was an organizing member of the Flint Hills Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
