Kay Clary

March 1, 1949 — February 26, 2011

Mrs. Clary, 61, of 1151 Granite Drive, Shelby, NC, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. A native of Cleveland County, she was a homemaker and member of Putnam Baptist Church. Mrs. Clary was preceded in death by her mother Sarah Self Alexander and a sister Wanda Griffin. Mrs. Clary is survived by her husband C. B. Clary Jr. of the home, two sons Curtis M. Clary of the home, and Joey Clary and wife Christy of Kings Mountain, four brothers David Alexander of Grover, Jerry Alexander and Thomas Alexander both of Shelby, Ricky Alexander of Kings Mountain, and a sister Jane Mayhue of Shelby, and a grandson Isaiah Fox. In addition to these she is also survived by Special Friend and Sunday School Teacher; Carolyn Henwook and Special Friends Rev. Oscar & Linda Stalcup, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted by Revs. Bryan Glisson & Gary Marburger. Memorials may be made to Putnam Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1146 County Home Road, Shelby, NC 28152.
