Kenneth Bridges

Mr. Kenneth Ray Bridges, age 82 of Mooresboro, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Peak Resources in Shelby.
He is survived by his son, Keith Bridges and wife Kandi of Mooresboro, NC, grandchildren, Kimberly Bridges and Stefin Bridges, and a sister, Mary Lou Daves of Boiling Springs, NC.
Born August 2, 1935 in Cleveland County, Mr. Bridges was the son of the late Morris and Lallage (Brooks) Bridges and was preceded in death by four brothers, Irvin Bridges, Millis "Bowser" Bridges, Perry Bridges, and Herman Bridges and three sisters, Martha Beason, Nora Greene, and Aileen Crowe.
Kenneth served in the United States Airforce as a radar repairman. He later worked for and retired from AT&T with 33 years of service. He enjoyed playing golf, coaching and playing softball, and spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Sandy Run Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tim Hendrick. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. A private burial will be held at Cleveland Memorial Park.
