Larry Bridges

Mr. Bridges was a retired truck driver for Roadway Tucking Company. He also enjoyed working at Glenn Llumber Company at the Sawmill.He was of the Baptist Faith, an Avid Horse Back Rider and enjoyed riding with family and friends.
He was preceeded in death by his parents Colin & Zeda H. Bridges, a brother James Huntsinger and a niece Cathy Fielder.
Mr. Bridges is survived by his wife Sara Hester Bridges of the home, daughters; Kiley Gagner of Shelby, and Vicky Bridges Arrowood of Gaffney, SC, sons Peter T. Bridges of Greenville, SC, and Colin Lee Bridges of Asheville, Step-sons Scott Hughes and wife Barrie of Kentucky & Ricky Hughes of Shelby. Grandson Bradley Arrowood of Gaffney, SC, a granddaughter Mia Helene Gagner of Shelby. He is also survived by two sisters Peggy Smith & Deanya Pruett and husband Gene of Boiling Springs, a brother and wife Rev. John R. Bridges & Barbara of Ellenboro, Brother-in-law Charles Hester & Wallace Hester and wife Jo of Shelby. Sisters-in-law Beuna Hester of Boiling Springs, and Martha Blanton & husband Andy of Earl. He is also survived by nephews Gene Smith Jr. and wife Cathy and Chris Philbeck of Shelby, Ricky Philbeck of Forest City, nieces Kim Upton and husband David & Donna Wyatt and husband Mike of Forest City. His special friends were Lanny Kidd, Miller Bridges Tracy Ruff and many other friends in other counties.
