Lewis Dobbins

Mr. Lewis Harold "Bee Jay" Dobbins III, age 33, went to be with his Lord and Savior and his grandfathers on June 13, 2016.
He is survived by his parents, Lewis Harold "Buster" Dobbins Jr. and Ambra Cook Dobbins of Shelby, NC, a brother, Lucas Ray "Luke" Dobbins of Shelby, NC, a son, Declan Dobbins, his grandmothers, Katie L. Cook of Shelby, NC, and Faye Dobbins of Boiling Springs, NC, aunts; Sheree McCallister and husband Jimmy of Gastonia, NC, Kim Cody and husband Steve of Shelby, NC, and Renee Monroe of Shelby, NC, cousins; Lewis and Trent McCallister, T.J. and Ryan Bowen, Chase and Austin Bridges, and numerous friends who he loved very much, and was preceded in death by a son, Jasper Dobbins and his grandfathers, Ambrose Cook and Lewis "Harold" Dobbins, Sr.
Born October 12, 1982 in Craven County "Cherry Point Naval Hospital", Bee Jay graduated from Crest High School in 2000 where he excelled in soccer during his high school tenure. He enjoyed music festivals, soccer, the Carolina Panthers, and living life. He would bring a smile by just entering a room. His happiness was making everyone happy around him. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all those that had the privilege to know him.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday at Cleveland Memorial Park
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crest High School Soccer Program, 800 Old Boiling Springs Road, Shelby NC 28152 or to Cleveland County Humane Society, 1609 E Marion St, Shelby, NC 28150.
