Lois Bostic

Mrs. Lois Stallings Bostic, age 95 of Shelby, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 16, 2022.

She is survived by her daughter, Risë Carol Bostic of Shelby, NC.  Born August 27, 1927 in Rutherford County, Lois was the daughter of the late J.W. Stallings and Zennie McCurry Stallings and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Walter Bostic, a daughter, Wanda Childress, a brother, Vernon Stallings, and four sisters, Colleen Johnson, Ruth Stallings, Melba Robbins, and Brenda Brank.

Lois was a faithful member of Elizabeth Baptist Church.  She enjoyed golfing, traveling, playing with her canine companions, and spending time with her family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Cleveland Memorial Park conducted by Chaplain Lynn Webber.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Black Mountain Center Foundation, 932 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711.
