Lois Holland

Lois Rea Allen Holland, age 93, of Mooresboro, died on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at her residence. A native of Cleveland County, she is the daughter of the late Will F. Allen and Margaret Parker Allen. Mrs. Holland had worked for 16 years in the cafeteria at Mooresboro School and West Cleveland School before her retirement. She loved sewing, working in the garden, trimming her bushes, and tending her flowers. She was a member of Drury Dobbins Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband C.O. Holland.

Mrs. Holland is survived by two daughters, Margaret Holland Duncan of Mooresboro and Carolyn Holland Camp of Ellenboro; one son, Keith Allen Holland of Mooresboro; three grandchildren, Giselle Duncan McBride and husband Randall of Boiling Springs, Michael Duncan of Earl, and David Camp and wife Leeanne of Ellenboro; six great grandchildren, Gilina and Paden McBride of Boiling Springs, Levi and Maggie Duncan of Earl, and Lauren & Kaylee Camp of Ellenboro; one sister-in-law, Valeria Holland Short of Shelby.
