Lorene Hamrick

Mrs. Hamrick, 88, born in Lincoln County, NC, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011 at White Oak Manor of Kings Mountain, where she lived. Mrs. Hamrick was a retired nurse, former member of First Baptist Church of Shelby, and currently a member of White Harvest Ministries Baptist Church of Shelby. Mrs. Hamrick was preceeded in death by her parents Oscar Lee Huss Sr. & Mary Edith Wist Huss, and her husband William P. Hamrick. Mrs. Hamrick is survived by two daughters and sons-in-laws; Linda Hamrick Williams & Jeff of Brentwood, Tenn., Cynthia Hamrick Mowery & Jim of Shelby, and a daughter Willa Margaret Hamrick of Cramerton, NC, a brother Reid Huss of Cherryville, NC, and a sister Jean Huss Hoyle of Vale, NC. Her grandchildren are; Adam Hamrick Kaul, Nathan Karl Williams, Emily Loren Huntsinger, William Palmer Hamrick Huntsinger, Jeremy Paul Mowery, Joseph Sean Mowery & wife Cretia, and Joshua Lee Mowery & wife Brandi. Great grandsons; Aiden Lee Hollaway, Anthony William Mowery, Cole Mowery & Hayden Mowery. Great granddaughter; Madison Kay Mowery Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Joseph Greene pastor of White Harvest Ministries Baptist Church of Shelby. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to White Harvest Ministries Baptist Church, 1014-6 Industry Drive, Shelby, NC 28152.
