Louise Reid

Mrs. Reid, 95, of Shelby, NC, passed away Monday, April 26, 2010 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. A native of Rutherford County, NC, Mrs. Reid was formally employed at Lou's Beauty Shop as a beautician, and was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church of Shelby. Mrs. Reid was preceeded in death by her parents William Martin Owen & Maude Hensley Owen, her husband Frank Gordon Reid, a niece RachelCheek and a nephew Robert Greene. Mrs. Reid is survived by two nieces Brenda Mitchem & Mary Greene, a nephew Don Cheek Sr., two great nephews, Joseph Greene & Don cheek Jr., three great nieces, Linda Lovelace, Marie Hooper & Dannis Allison. Funeral services will be conducted by the Revs. Jeff Erbskorn and Randy Risinger. Memorials may be made to either St. Jude Hospital, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142, or to the donors choice.
