Lucille Weaver

Mrs. Weaver, 89, of 327 Woodside Drive, Shelby, NC passed away Friday, March 27, 2009 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Gainesville, GA she was retired from Cleveland Regional Medical Center where she was a Dietary Assistant. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Shelby. She loved being outside and working in her flowers and taking care of her cats. She enjoyed trips to the mountains with her family.

Mrs. Weaver was preceeded in death by her parents Hal C. Clark & Mary Cronan Clark, her husband Virgil Woodrow "Woody" Weaver and brothers Harvey, C. G., Odus, Paul & Bobby Clark, and two sisters Cora Belle Smith & Nancy Camp.

Mrs. Weaver is survived by two daughters and their husbands Brenda W. Blanton and Sidney, and Kay W. Putnam and Mike all of Shelby, a brother and his wife Lloyd Clark and Irene of Shelby, a ssister and her husband Charlene Weaver and James E. of Polkville, NC. Her grandchildren and their spouses are: Jennifer Bates & Richard, Jody Blanton & Suzanne, Allison Hodges & Kevin and Eric Putnam & Vicki, and great grandchildren Reid Blanton & Zeke Putnam. Mrs. Weaver is also survived by two sister-in-laws Virginia Clark & Trish Clark. Two special caregivers are Bea Lapham & Freida Valcore. Mrs. Weaver is also survived by her special cat Sam. In addition to these she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. James Potts, Dr. Calvin Caunt and the staff at Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.

Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Regionald Dawkins, Revs. Mike Wood & David Rabb.
