Malvina Carter

Mrs. Carter, 81, of 103 Highland Pines Drive and Crawley Memorial Hospital, passed away July 15, 2008 at Crawley Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Catawba County, NC, and had worked at Clyde Fabrics and Arthur A. Oliver of Newton. Mrs. Carter attended Flint Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Carter was preceeded in death by her parents Orley J. & Dorothy Mae Lane Schronce, her husband Harold Sifford Carter, brother Howard Everette Schronce and a half brothers; Herbert and Frank Schronce.
Mrs. Carter is survived by a son and his wife Glenn & Rita Carter of Boiling Springs, a daughter Bonnie Carter Woody of Startown, NC, sisters; Shirley Caldwell of Sherrills Ford, NC, and Eunice Mays of Hickory, NC, and a half sister Dorothy York Houston of Conover, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren; Jessica Carter James, Terra Brook Carter, Kyle David Carter, Melanie Lewis and Ian Woody, and nine great grandchildren.
