Marceline Wood

A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Lee & Susan Elliott Weathers. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Rufus Weathers. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, George B. Wood of Greensboro, daughter & her husband, Patricia Wood Graf & Edward of Pfafftown, NC; stepson & his wife, Robert W. Wood & Barbara of Winston-Salem, NC; sisters, Ola W. Bowman of Greenville, SC & Pantha W. Parker of Union, SC, brother, Thomas Weathers and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She retired from teaching after 30 years in the Greensboro City School System. She received her B.S. Degree from Woman's College in 1946 and her masters degree from Appalachian State College. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Greensboro.
