Mary Gettys

A native of Rutherford County, Mrs. Gettys was the daughter of the late Bennie A. and Mari Gold Hilburn Gettys. She enjoyed reading, sewing and making quilts. She loved spending precious time with her sister and caring for her children and grandchildren. She was of the Baptist Faith.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ann Kelly.



She is survived by two daughters, Angela Spurlin and husband Scott and

Nicole Gettys; four sons, Benny Kelly, Randy Kelly and wife Lisa, Joe Kelly

and Billy Kelly and fiancé Lisa Lewis; 13 grandchildren, Dustin Kelly and

wife April, Kyle Kelly and fiancé Keeley Farris, Dawn Towery and husband

John, Robert Spurlin, RJ Kelly, Andy Kelly, DaShawn Kelly, Angel Lewis,

Kayla Kelly, Levi Kelly, Robbie Woods, Breanna Woods and Alicia Woods;

three great grandchildren, Brittany Towery, Halie Towery and Hannah Kelly;

four brothers, Ben Gettys, Jr., Raymond Gettys, Jim Earls and Tommy Earls;

two sisters, Cathy Corn and Mattie Scoggins.
