Mary Wilson

Mrs. Wilson, 85, of 306 Ford Street, Shelby, NC passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Wilson was born in Cherokee County, SC, and was a homemaker and caregiver for her family and a member of Sharon United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents Robert Moss and Effie Brown Moss, her husband Billy Wilson, a daughter Mary Jean Wilson, brothers Roy, Olen, Forest, Robert, and Edward Moss, and sisters Lois Stokes, Dorothy Glascoe, Mildred Dover, and Viola Shields. Mrs. Wilson is survived by two daughters Becky Wilson of Shelby, and Kathy Jones & husband Wayne of Kings Mountain. Her grandchildren are Beth Foster, Shannon Jones, Stephanie Ramsey & Christy Forney; and great grandchildren are Taylor Foster, Zachery Foster, Barrett Huffstetler, Casey Ramsey, Ryan Ramsey, Madison Ramsey, Mackenzie Ramsey, Tyler Forney & Dominic Forney, and one great great grandson Benjamin Laurich. In addition to these she is also survived by a large number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. April Abernathy pastor of Sharon United Methodist Church.
