Mr. Bridges, 25, a native of Cleveland County, known as "Slim" by his friends, a nickname which stuck with him in high school, was employed by Thomas Petroleum Company. He was a 2002 Crest High School graduate where he was a member of Future Farmers of America, Parlimentarian officer and attended the Leadership conference. He was also a member of the Forestry, Poultry, Tools & Beef Judging Teams. He entered cattle at the Cleveland County Fair and won several rebbons including a reserved heifer champion. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Bridges loved his family and will be missed as long as we live.
Mr. Bridges was preceeded in death by his wife Brittany Ballard Bridges, a grandfather William Ernest Hoyle and a aunt Teresa Winn.
Mr. Bridges is survived by his parents Joey & Kay Hoyle Bridges os Boiling Springs, a brother Ryan Bridges also of Boiling Springs, a daughter Kyndall Bridges of Gastonia, grandparents Billy Joe & Melba Bridges and Bill & Lavonne Powell, a grandmother Thelma Hoyle all of Shelby. He is also survived by Aunts and Uncles; Susie & Herb Eplee, Jeremy & Kelly Bridges, Shirley & Nick Logan, Joel & Joy Hoyle & Dale & Martha Winn; cousins, Jenifer & Donald Hester, Betsy & Jimmy Hamrick, Sally & Jonathan Medford, Jason & Julie Winn, Heather McMahan, Josie Hoyle, Kristin & Joey Edgins, Kari & Matt Bailey, Emma Bridges & Caden Bridges.
Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Rick Prassel, Rev. Clyde Buckner & Dr. Jim Richardson.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Kyndall Bridges Fund, Fidelity Bank, 331 S. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC 28150 or to her fund at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 1106 Poplar Springs Church Road, Shelby, NC 28150 or to her fund at any Fidelity Bank in Shelby, Kings Mountain or Gastonia, NC.
