Mavis Reynolds

Mrs. Mavis Reynolds, age 92 a native of Cleveland County, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Peak Resources in Shelby.
She is survived by her three brothers, Gary Reynolds, Charles Reynolds and wife Bette Ann, and Bill Reynolds and wife Martha, all of Shelby, NC, and several nieces and nephews.
Born October 25, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence David Reynolds, Sr. and Vernie Mae Potter Reynolds and was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Walker, a sister, Vada R. Hamrick, two brothers, Bobby Reynolds and L.D. Reynolds, Jr., and a step daughter, Susan Walker Cook.
Mrs. Reynolds was a lifelong employee of Belks in Shelby.
Memorial services will be 11:00 am Friday, March 25, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
