Melba Neal

Mrs. Neal, 88, of Shelby, NC, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, NC, she retired from Southern Bell. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Shelby and the Pioneer Worker's of America. Mrs. Neal is preceded in death by her parents John Thomas Humphries & Edith Mildred Allen Humphries, a brother Buford Humphries and a grandson Michael Addis. Mrs. Neal is survived by a daughter and her husband Carol Neal Addis & Thomas of Shelby, a son David Neal of Shelby, and a granddaughter Meredith Addis also of Shelby. In addition to these she is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Glenn Walker and Dr. Tim Simms.
