Mildred Crotts

Mrs. Mildred "Jerri" Clary Crotts, 85, of Shelby, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cherokee County, SC., she is the daughter of the late Charles Fitzgerald Clary and Ida Medley Clary. Mildred loved spending time with her family and enjoyed preparing meals for them. She also loved flowers and cross stitching. She was a member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Mike Jones; three sisters, Phyllis Ford, Frances Lemmons and Lillian Clary; two brothers, Dean Clary and Lloyd Clary.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, W. Gene Crotts of the home; two daughters, Denise Jones of Shelby and Cathy Romines and husband Russell of Raleigh; one sister, Willena Clary of Shelby; special nephew, David Clary and wife Lisa of Shelby; two grandchildren, Christopher Jones and wife Ashley of Kings Mountain and Jason Romines and wife Blaire of Raleigh; great grandchild, Cooper Romines; special great niece, Madison Clary. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
