Morris Philbeck

Mr. Philbeck. 72, of 112 Deere Lane, Ellenboro, NC, passed away Sunday 10-5-2008 at Hospice of Cleveland County. He worked for 38 years at Doran Textiles where he was a supervisor. He was a member of Gantts Grove Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army in Germany.
Mr. Philbeck was preceeded in death by his parents Briscoe Morgan Philbeck & Gladys Lovelace Philbeck.
Mr. Philbeck is survived by his wife Suzanne Spitler Philbeck of the home, sons; Richard Philbeck and wife Roxie of Blacksburg, SC, Edward Peterson of Cary, NC, Robert Bridges and wife Cindy of Pickens, SC, daughters Teresa Drewery and husband Ricky of Polkville, NC, Michelle Huskey of Mooresboro, NC.
He is also survived by a special friend Scott Morgan of Cary, NC, brothers Wade Philbeck of Rutherford Co., Edwin Philbeck of Mooresboro, NC, sisters Jennie Thompson of Rutherford Co., Avis Street of Mooresboro, NC, and Verdie Dellinger of Gastonia, NC.
He also has 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted by Revs. Caris Owens, Robert Lane. & Robert Bridges.
