Nang Phongsa

Nang Phongsa, age 65, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away peacefully December 3, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center.
Born October 7, 1951 in Laos, she was the daughter of the late Both Thongasa and Thinh Thongasa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Praseuth Phongsa and a son, Sai Phongsa.
Mrs. Phongsa was a member of Wat Laos Houeikeo Indharam Buddhist Temple.
Survivors include her three sons, Boone Phongsa and wife Nicole, Bo Phongsa, Soc Phongsa; three grandchildren, Hope, Madalyn, and Elyn Phongsa; and three great-grandchildren, Josiah Guyton, Liam Moore and Korbin Moore.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2016 at the funeral home. A traditional Laotian funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Chapel.
