Norma Johnson Lancaster

   Mrs. Norma Johnson Lancaster, age 83 of Shelby, NC, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Carolina Care Center in Cherryville.

   She is survived by her two children, Tim Lancaster and wife Lori of Shelby, NC, and Donna Lancaster Ledford of Shelby, NC, three grandchildren, Brandi Goode and husband Andy of Shelby, NC, Taylor Lancaster of Boiling Springs, NC, and Ryan Lancaster and wife Ashley of Crossville, TN, and three great grandchildren, Jesse Scruggs, Jake Goode, and Reese Lancaster.

   Born June 21, 1940, in Rutherford County, NC, Norma was the daughter of the late Herman Johnson and Carrie Johnson and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Donald Lancaster, a brother, Donald Johnson, and a son-in-law, Joey Ledford.

   Norma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She was both faithful to God and family.  Norma enjoyed planting flowers and reading by the lake.  

   A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Cleveland Funeral Services conducted by Rev. Keith Dixon.  A visitation will be held from 10:00am – 11:00am prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.

   Pallbearers will be Andy Goode, David Moore, Sam Moore, J.P. Harrington, Cliff Hamrick, and Dale Hamrick.
