Norris Owens

Mr. Owens, 68, of Shelby, NC, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 at Crawley Memorial Hospital. A native of Cleveland County, he had been employed at Drexel Furniture Company, and the Town of Boiling Springs for 6 years. Mr. Owens was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Owens is preceded in death by his parents Joe Owens & Beulah Melton Owens. Mr. Owens is survived by his wife Mary Lancaster Owens of the home, a daughter and her husband Cynthia Ford & Shan of Ellenboro, NC, a son and his wife Sam Moore & Laura of Kings Mountain, NC, two grandsons; Billy Moore of Ellenboro and Sammy Moore of Kings Mountain, also three granddaughters Jordan Moore, Kiersten Moore, and Ashlynn Moore all of Kings Mountain, NC, Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Bobby Gettys.
