Olivia Greene

Mrs. Greene, 86, of Ellenboro, NC, passed away Friday, July 2, 2010 at Hospice of Kings Mountain. A native of Cleveland County, NC, she served as a Lab Technician for 20 years at Fiber Industries. She was a member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church and enjoyed oil painting and was an avid gardener. Mrs. Greene was preceeded in death by her parents William Cleveland Grayson & Docia Ellen Spangler Grayson, her husband Ray Festus Greene, a daughter-in-law Barbara Lewis Greene and a sister Mary Howington. Mrs. Greene is survived by two sons and their wives; James Greene & Sandra of Charleston, SC, John Greene & Barbara of Ellenboro, NC, one daughter Anne Greene of Portland, Oregon, a sister and her husband Margaret Elliott & John of Shelby, NC and two grandchildren Daniel Greene of Ellenboro, NC and Melanie Lynch of Forest City, NC. Mrs. Greene is also survived by three great grandchildren and four step grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren. The family would like to extend special thanks to Hospice of Cleveland County. Memorial services will be conducted by Rev. Garin Hill pastor of Sandy Plains Baptist Church of New House, NC.
