Palmer Jones

Palmer Wilson Jones, 95, of Crystal Springs Estates, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Hospice of Kings Mountain. Son of the late Laddie and Mary Jane Green Jones, he was the husband of the late Lelia Crosby Jones.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers; Ivey Jones, Winfred Jones and J.D. Jones and three sisters; Bonnie Lee Jones, Etta Jones Branton, and Dorothy Jones Palmer.

He is survived by one daughter, Louise Jones Murray and husband, Claude, of Shelby; one grandson, Patrick Murray and wife, Melonie, of Charlotte; one granddaughter, Kelli Murray Bolt and husband Mike, of Shelby; two great-granddaughters, Shaye Bolt of Boiling Springs, SC and Hannah Allen of Charlotte; one brother and four sisters, Lewis Jones, Anna Katherine Causby, Betty Bowen and Judy Delozier, all of Cleveland County. He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church and was retired from Ora Mill.
