Patricia Alice Long Pies

Mrs. Patricia Alice Long Pies, 78, passed away Saturday May 27^th, 2023, at Fair Haven of Forest City. A native of Washington County, VA, she was born November 15, 1944, daughter of the late George Garrett and Nell Patrick Long. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Stephen Allen Merz, one step-daughter, Jan Allison Pies and six siblings.

Mrs. Pies is survived by her husband, Edward Pies of the home, one daughter, Lisa Ann Smith and husband Dennis, one step-daughter, Laura Pies, one step-son, David Pies, one sister, Judy Long Edwards, four grandchildren, Stephen Hughes and wife Alesandra, Adam Hughes, Danny Merz, and Victoria Merz, one great grandchild, Amanda Hughes.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Cleveland Funeral Service and Crematory from 5-7:30 pm.
