Patsy Rogers

October 15, 1930 — April 5, 2008

Patsy Blanton Rogers, 77, of 351 Washburn Switch Road, died Saturday April 5, 2008. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.She worked at Little Beavers Kindergarden, taught private panio lessons, and led music classes at Shanghai Elemetary School. She was also employed at Cleveland Lumber Company, Cleveland Memorial Park, and retired from Artee Industries as a bookeeper. She was also the organist at Sharon United Methodist Church for 25 years. A llifelong Methodist, she was currently a member of Lafayette Street United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, served on many church committees and was a member ot the United Methodist Women where she held various offices.
Patsy was preceeded in death by her parents George Glenn Blanton & Viola Nolan Blanton, her beloved husband for 52 years Johnny E. Rogers and a brother George Michael Blanton.
Patsy is survived by a son Chris Rogers and wife Deborah of Shelby, a daughter Debra "Debbie" Rogers Webb of Boiling Springs, four granddaughters, Michelle Strickland and husband Peter of Boiling Springs, Melanie Willis and husband Bradley of Shelby, Kristin Cunningham and husband James of Colorodo Springs, Colodoro, and Carly Rogers and Friend, Doug Mojica from Colodoro Springs, Colodoro; and four great grandchildren, Kate Strickland, Emily Strickland, Jackson Willis, and Fisher Cunningham.
