Paul Setzer

Paul Miguel Setzer, age 61 of Shelby, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 19, 2021.

He is survived by a sister, Melinda Setzer Jordan of Boiling Springs, NC, a brother, John Setzer of Boiling Springs, NC, two nephews, James Allen Jordan of Stuttgard, Germany, and Christopher Ross Jordan of Boiling Springs, NC, a special daughter, Irma Katerzyna Roll of the Philippines, and his former wife, Goldie Scruggs Setzer.

Born September 8, 1959 in Burke County, NC, Paul was the son of the late Manuel Allen Setzer and Isabell Shuffler Setzer.  Paul was a musician and used his talents in many ways including playing in various bands, working as a sound technician for groups such as Ozzy Osborne, Radio Head, and touring with Sam Bush.  He was dedicated to his task, loved children and his youth group.  Paul was a faithful member of David Baptist Church in Kings Mountain.

A celebration of life will be announced by the family at a later date.
