Peggy Culberson

Peggy Robbins Culberson, age 67 of Ellenboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 14, 2021.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Michael Culberson of the home, her children, Sharon Miller of Ellenboro, NC, and Daniel Miller and wife Brandy of Shelby, NC, four grandchildren, Chanity Creech and husband Houston of Raeford, NC, Chris Miller and wife Kayla of Ludowici, GA, Jacob Miller and wife Hannah of Kings Mountain, NC, and Alayna Miller of Shelby, NC, three great grandchildren, Ayden Creech, Ella Creech, and Nova Miller, a brother, Donald Robbins and wife Becky of Mooresboro, NC, a sister, Judy Dulin and husband Les of Shelby, NC, a sister-in-law, Rita Robbins of Shelby, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born September 2, 1954 in Cleveland County, Peggy was the daughter of the late Yates Robbins and Margaret Allen Robbins and was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Miller, a brother, Furman Robbins and a sister, Bertha Mae Robbins.

Peggy was a faithful member of High Shoal Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday school.  Her Bible stories were an important part of her faith.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmohter and sister. Peggy enjoyed watching Nascar and the Atlanta Braves baseball.  Peggy loved to cook for her family during special occasions.  She was known for her “Cathead” biscuits.  Peggy especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, including her canine companions, Dillon, Charlie, and Ottis.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 2, 2021 at High Shoal Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Shane Atkins and Rev. Jerry Allen.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
