Phillip "Buck" Proctor

 Mr. Phillip “Buck” Proctor, age 88 of Shelby, NC, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 9, 2024.

 He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rachel Emory Proctor of the home, a daughter, Phyliss Clary of Shelby, NC, two grandchildren, Dylan Spivey of Virginia Beach, VA, and Dustin Black of Grover, NC, and his beloved feline cat, Harlee.

 Born April 7, 1936, in Cleveland County, NC, Phillip was the son of the late Earl and Hattie Cline Proctor and was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Taylor.

 Phillip was a loving husband, father, grandfather. He enjoyed deer hunting, traveling through the mountains, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

 A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 10:00am – 11:00am at Cleveland Funeral Services. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 at Zion Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Danny McNelly.
