A native of Cleveland County, Mr. Lovelace was self employed barber for 60 years at Lovelace Barber Shop. He was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church were he served as a Sunday school teacher, deacon, choir member and Joy Club member. He was also a member of the American Legion and Cleveland County Council on Aging and A.A.R.P. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army and served during WWII 1942-1945.
