Randy Henderson

SHELBY - Randy Eugene Henderson, age 50, of Shelby, NC, passed away May 5, 2016 at his residence.
Born December 6, 1965 in Cleveland County, NC, he was the son of James Henderson and the late Shirley Poteat Henderson. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Jim Henderson and maternal grandparents, Jack and Pearl Poteat.
He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and worked as a supervisor at Baldor Electric in Kings Mountain.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Judy Henderson; daughters, Jessica Safrit and husband Adam, Alison Henderson; father, James Henderson; brother, Ronnie Henderson and wife Robin; paternal grandmother, Maggie Henderson; and granddaughter, his "Pride and Joy" Madelyn Safrit. .
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday May 9, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Barry Goodman and Rev. Jerry Allen officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m. Monday May 9, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Cemetery.
