Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Helen (Miller) Campbell, 88 of Ellenboro, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her children, Donald "Don" Campbell and wife Susan of Rutherfordton, NC, Dwight "Dee" Campbell of Shelby, NC, and Carol Clary and husband Danny of Shelby, NC, three grandchildren, Chase Campbell and wife Kelly of Clayton, NC, Clay Campbell of Shelby, NC, and Mandy Taylor and husband Matt of Rutherfordton, NC, four great grandchildren, Sarah Taylor, Emma Taylor, J.P. Campbell and Parker Campbell, a brother, Bobby Miller and wife Sue of Jacksonville, FL, two sisters, Judy McSwain and husband Harold of Shelby, NC, and Marsha Sims and husband Harold of Gaffney, SC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born September 27, 1929 in Cleveland County, Mrs. Campbell was the daughter of the late Ernest and Faye Roberts Miller and was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James "Jimmy" Buren Campbell.
Becky was a faithful wife and mother. She was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church where she served as the Church Treasurer for many years. She enjoyed painting, working on puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 6, 2017 at Big Springs Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Paul Scott. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
