Mrs. Pearson, 74, of 121 Horton Street, Casar, NC, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at he home.

Mrs. Pearson, a Godley wife and Mother, died at her home on September 7, 2011. A 1956 graduate of Bethware High School, she was a registered nurse and a homemaker. She was a member of Morris Memorial Baptist Church, formerly a member of Davidson Memorial Baptist Church and her home church was New Camp Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Claude Hamrick & Clara Cooper Hamrick, a son, Jason Wade Pearson, brothers; J. Y. Hamrick, Rev. Joseph Hamrick, Howard Hamrick and several step-brothers, sisters; Myrtle Hawkins, Brenda H. Bridges, two infant twin sisters and several step-sisters.

Mrs. Pearson is survived by her husband of 51 years Marion Jr. Pearson of the home, four sons Marion Keith Pearson & wife Tina, David Scott Pearson & wife Christina, Larry Mark Pearson & wife Donna and Barry Blaine Pearson all of Casar, NC, three sisters Mary Sue Laughter of Hollis, NC, Flossie Ragan of Blacksburg, SC, and Frances Hamrick of Kings Mountain, NC, and a Godson Dean Hawking of Shelby, NC. In additiion to these she is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a number of step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Chris Emory pastor of Morris Memorial Baptist Church, and the Rev. Landon Rice.
