Rev. William Bennett

Reverend William Douglas Marion Bennett, 79, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, April, 7, 2022. A native of Spartanburg County, SC, he was born August 30, 1942, son of the late Joseph and Ella Suttles Bennett. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one son, Paul Bennett, two daughters, Karen Hoyle and Joanne Wylie, one brother, Richard Bennett, four sisters, Bobbie Jo Bennett, Carolyn Bennett, Catherine Parks, and Emma Bennett.

Rev Bennett is survived by his wife Vivian Hickerson Bennett of the home; two daughters, Patricia Davidson (Eric), Kathy Crocker-Palmer (Thomas); 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday, April 11, 2022, 2:30 pm at House of Prayer in Fallston officiated by Rev. Clyde Price. The family will receive friends one hour to the service beginning at 1:30 pm at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
