Mr. Robert Colon Scism, 53, of Ellenboro, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon Byers Scism of the home, four children, Justin Scism of Omaha, NE, Jesse Scism of Omaha, NE, Hannah Scism of Ellenboro, NC, and Courtney Evans of Ellenboro, NC, four grandchildren, Andy Scism, Adalyn Beheler, Natalie Beheler, and Zoltan Conner, a sister, Cynthia Scism Davidson of Shelby, NC, two nieces, Myla Keever and Hayle Pitchford and three nephews, Dustin Byers, Jaxon Keever, and Tucker Pitchford, and numerous friends who adored him.
Born November 15, 1962 in Cleveland County, Mr. Scism is the son of Virginia Ruth Foster Scism and the late Robert Allen Scism.
Mr. Scism loves watching sports and was an avid Clemson fan. He had coached softball and football for several years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Robert had a great since of humor and made anyone around him feel like family. He will be missed by those that knew him.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. A visitation will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Goodes Grove Baptist Church in Mooresboro.
