Robert Johnson

Robert Earl Johnson, 77 of Shelby, passed away April 27, 2013 at his residence. A native of Norfolk, VA he is the son of the late William Edgar Johnson and Lola Jane Milligan Johnson. He had worked as a machinist for most of his life. A man who loved his family, good food, beautiful glass, told great wondering stories, was very much loved and will be missed by all that knew him.

He left seven children, Donna Johnson Padgett and husband Eddie, Christine Johnson Adams, Robert Johnson Jr. and wife Trish, Jennifer Johnson Tipton and husband Randall, Billy Johnson and wife Jennifer, Paula Johnson Padgett and Joseph Johnson; 14 grandchildren, Maria, Edward, Shane, Erica, Tyler, Michelle, Anjelica, Brittany, Jennifer, Matthew, Michael, Jessy, Monica and Kylie; eight great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Joseph, Brianna, Alana, Aly, Anna, Haley and Lily; one sister-in-law, Arrie of Shelby and one niece Linda, of Maryland.
