Roger Moore

Roger Steve Moore, 75, of Shelby, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 30, 2021.

He is survived by a daughter, Connie Loucks and husband Don, a son, Mike Moore and wife Shelley, three grandchildren, Melissa Loucks, Ben Moore, and Ashley Moore, two great grandchildren, Noah and Logan.

Born in Cleveland County on November 29, 1945, Roger was the son of the late Clyde Tillman Moore and Ruby Humphries Moore. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Linda Moore.

Roger was a devout Christian man. He found his Christian home at Sandy Run Baptist Church with his wife Linda. He loved to have purpose and found that purpose in helping others. He was devoted to his wife Linda and when she had medical issues later in life he never left her side. Roger was a hard working family man. His family is finally at peace that he is not suffering and in heaven with his wife.

A Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 3rd, 2021 at 1:00pm at Cleveland Funeral Services with a visitation held one hour prior. A burial will follow the funeral service at Cleveland Memorial Park.
