Mr. Sisk, a native of Cleveland County, NC was a retired sergeant with the Shelby Police Department. He loved taking cruises, trips to Las Vegas, deep sea fishing, and getting together with his family, friends, and members of the Shelby Police Department. He was of the Baptist faith and a former member of the North Carolina Law Enforcement Assn. Special thanks to Drs. Rob Laney, Mike Barringer, Forrest Thompson, Daniel Davis, & Brent Farrell and the Nurses on 5th. floor and ICU at Cleveland Regional Medical Fenter. Mr. Sisk also served 4 years in the United States Army.`
Mr. Sisk was preceeded in death by his parents William Daniel Sisk & Maude Frances Drewery Sisk McSwain.
Mr. Sisk is survived by his wife Janet Gorman Sisk of the home, a son & wife Jeremy Sisk & Michelle of Shelby, two brothers and their wives; Jimmy Sisk & Jackie of Shelby, Danny Sisk & Sharon of Alaska. Five sisters and their husbands; Margie Lemons & Floyd, Sara Elam & Ben, Carolyn Morrow & Archie & Janet Clontz & Jerry all of Shelby, Vickie Morrison & Steve of Boiling Springs, NC. He is also survived by a Step-Granddaughter Chantelle Wosleben of Shelby and a Step-Grandson Jessy Wolsleben of Sacramento, CA, a Step-Great Grandson Xzavier Cohen of Shelby, a Mother-in-law Doris F. Gorman of Sheby, a sister-in-law and husband Donnis Davis & Roger of Shelby, ank Kay White and Tim of Earl, NC, and a number of nieces and nephews.
