Ruby West

Mrs. Ruby Curry West of Shelby, NC died on September 19, 2008 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth West and daughter, Betty Ware. She retired from textiles where she was a spinner. She was a member of New Bethel Church of the Nazarene and the Amvets Auxilliary where she was a charter and lifetime member and held many offices.

She is survived by her son Charles West & his wife, Brenda of Fayetteville; daughters, Gaynell Johnson & husband, Ennis of Shelby; Linda Lingle & husband, Fred of Huntersville; Phyllis Greene & husband, Norman of Shelby; Son-In-Law, George Ware; Niece, Doris Whisnant; grandchildrend Donna, Jane, Cindy, Mark, Kim, Sharon, Michelle, Trina, Cheryl, David and Beth, Tom and Sharon. She was also survived by 21 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren.
