Ruth Horton

Mrs. Horton, 71, of East Marion Street, Shelby, NC, relocated to Heaven, Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Hospice at Wendover. Mrs. Horton retired from Fasco Controls and was a member of Shelby First Assembly of God. She was preceeded in death by her parents Eugene & Mildred Bridges, a sister Nancy Ogren and two brothers Sonny Bridges and Edward Bridges. Mrs. Horton is survived by her husband Bobby Ray Horton Sr. of the home, one son and daughter-in-law Bobby Ray Horton Jr. & Amy of Shelby, one daughter and son-in-law Donnis Bridges & Randy of Boiling Springs, NC, and grandchildren Angela Malone & Adam of Georgia, Marlee & Kaylee Horton of Shelby, Jessica Bridges of Boiling Springs, NC, a nephews Artee, Steve & Chris Ogren, best friend, Dot Williams & husband Bill, and extended family Dianne Freeman, Sue Moore, Donna & Eddie Clayton, Tina, Travis, Tiffany & Tracie Stewart, Jeff Queen and Brian Cobb. I love you all, Ma Ma Ruth. Funeral services will be conducted by the Revs. Eddie Clayton & Mike Thompson.
