Sherri Surratt

Mrs. Surratt, 49, of Shelby, NC, passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Born in Cleveland County, NC, Mrs. Surratt was preceded in death by her mother Ruby Ashley Bridges, maternal grandparents Jim & Mamie Ashely and paternal grandparents F. M. & Sallie Bridges. She had retired on disability after working as a cosmetologist at Pizzazz. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Mrs. Surratt is survived by her husband, Chris Surratt of Shelby, daughter Danielle Denton of the home, special daughter Morgan McNeilly of Shelby, sisters Kathy Jones (Rodney Roseboro) of Shelby and Sandra Humphries of Shelby; brother Scott Bridges (Zoe) of Myrtle Beach, SC., brother-in-law Jerry Jones of Shelby, grandchildren Avery Rieger & Meredith McNeilly , nieces Ashley Goforth & Brianna Bridges, two great nephews and one great niece. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. John McCluney and Rev. J. R. Robbins.
