Shirley Fulbright

Ms. Fulbright, 60, of 113-C Stroupe Road, Gastonia, NC passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Carolina Specialty Hospital in Charlotte, NC. A native of Gaston County, NC, she was employed by Bell South for 25 years and also worked at BiLo Supermarket in Shelby. She attended Lee College in Cleveland, Tenn, and was a member of The First Pentecostal Church of Gastonia, NC. Ms. Fulbright was preceded in death by her parents Johnson B. Fulbright Sr. & Bertha Elliott Fulbright. Ms. Fulbright is survived by a brother and his wife Johnson Blake Fulbright Jr. & Becky of Clover, SC, a sister and her husband Marilyn F. Quinn & Barry of Gastonia, NC, two nieces; Margaret Gammons and Whitney Gunckle of Gastonia, NC, two nephews; Blake Fulbright and wife Lynn of Belmont, NC, and Christopher Gunckle of Raleigh, NC, and a great niece Ella Fulbright of Belmont, NC. Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. Tony Fulbright. Memorials may be made to The First Pentecostal Church, Children's Bus Fund, 91 May Street, Gastonia, NC 28054.
