Shirley Hardwick

Shirley Irene Ausmun Hardwick, age 92 of Kings Mountain, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 5, 2020.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Bohacek and husband Jeff of Kings Mountain, NC, four grandchildren, Samantha Hamilton of Soldotna, AK, Stephanie Hamilton of Clarksville, IN, David Hamilton of Louisville, KY, and Jennifer Boomershine of LaGrange, KY, two great grandchildren, Christopher and Sophia Boomershine of LaGrange, KY.

Born November 16, 1928 in Norwood Ohio, Shirley was the daughter of the late Charles and Pearl Robbins Ausmun and was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Hardwick.

Shirley enjoyed reading and taking care of her cats.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be missed by special family friends which include Nancy Cox, Nancy’s daughter, Sheila, and grandchildren, Veronica and Marshall.

The family will hold a private gathering.
