Steve Bell

Mr. Bell, 59, of 2525 N. White Oak Drive, Shelby, NC passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, he worked for 30 years at F.M.C. Corporation in Bessemer City and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Bell served in the U. S. Army in Vietnam during 1969 & 1970. Mr. Bell was preceeded in death by his father Dorse Bell. Mr. Bell is survived by his mother Ellie Leming Bell of Shelby NC, his wife Betty Lanier Bell of the home, a son Jason Bell, a brother Jerry Bell & wife Joan, a sister Dorothy Cobb & husband R. A., two sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law Joyce & Bruce Simpson, and Kathy & Billy Sandifer all of Shelby, NC. Mr. Bell was also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Henry Nichols.
