Steven Bivins

Steven H. Bivins, age 72, of Mooresboro, NC, went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2017 at his home after a long battle with cancer.
Born December 10, 1944 in Cleveland County, he was the son of the late G.W. Bivins and Ina Faye Ledford Bivins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Kay Bivins.
Steve was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church and a faithful, loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Bivins of the home; daughter, Denise McKee and husband Richard of Mooresboro; grandson, Brian McGill of Mooresboro; and sister, Wanda Husky and husband Dewey of Blacksburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Mike Frazier officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
