Mooresboro - Mrs. Sybil Dobbins Beason, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, November 13, 2022, at her residence.
Born in Cleveland County on March 2, 1949, Mrs. Beason was the daughter of the late Kenneth Melvin and Mary Lee Dixon Dobbins. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Dawn Beason, one brother, Melvin Dobbins.
Mrs. Beason is survived by her husband, Ed Beason of the home, one son, Chris Beason of Mooresboro, one sister, Diane Buchanan of Butner, NC, one sister-in-law, Kay Dobbins, one niece, Kathy Felker and three grandchildren, Dr. Hannah Beason Brooks and husband Ben of Matthews, NC, Ericah Dawn Beason of San Marcos, TX, and Luke Edward Beason of Charlotte, NC.
Mrs. Beason was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church and a graduate of Crest High School. She was a beautiful person inside and out who loved her husband and family with all her heart. She never left the house unless she was presentable and “looked good” to meet the public. Mrs. Beason had a love and passion for children, which was evident in her 32 years working at TLC Daycare and Boiling Springs Baptist Church Daycare
A funeral service will be held for Mrs. Beason on Friday, November 18, 2022, beginning at 11am, held at Boiling Springs Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Keith Dixon and Dr. Carroll Page. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10am at the church. Burial will be at Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery. In honoring Mrs. Beason’s life, serving as pallbearers will be, Tommy Greene, Jonathan Greene, Jimmy Beason, Lynn Sarratt, Ben McDaniel, Terry Wallace.
