Teresa Gibson

Miss. Teresa Gail Gibson, age 60 of Shelby, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Avante at Charlotte. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Faith Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Barry Goodman and Rev. Johnny Owens. A visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 pm prior to the service at the Church. Burial will follow at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by a brother, Todd Gibson of Charlotte, NC, three aunt's, Joanne Warlick and husband Buren of Shelby, NC, Hazel Arrington of Charlotte, NC, and Evelyn England and husband Sonny of Hickory, NC, an uncle, Arvin Gibson of Marion, NC, and four cousins, Rhonda Lovelace and husband Joel of Shelby, NC, Marty Queen and wife Sandra of Marion, NC, Tracy Queen of Marion, NC, and Tori Bridges of Columbia, SC.
Born July 10, 1954 in Marion, NC, Miss Gibson was the daughter of the late Dewey and Betty (Queen) Gibson. Teresa graduated from Shelby High School and later graduated from Gaston Community College with an Associate's Degree in Social Services. After college, Teresa became a teacher's assistant at Marion Elementary. Miss Gibson was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, writing, and talking to her family and friends. Teresa was loved by everyone that knew her and she will be missed.
