Trilba Bridges Ellis

Mrs. Trilba Bridges Ellis, 87 of Grover, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, July 3, 2017.
She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Billy Joe Ellis of the home, children, Rhonda Huggins of Leadville, CO., Vickie Carroll of Shelby, NC, and a step daughter, Sandra Theis and husband Dennis of Shelby, NC., grandchildren, Jeremy Huggins and wife Michelle of Casar, NC, Jason Huggins of Leadville, CO, Edward Hetzel of Shelby, NC, and Sonia Stevens of Shelby, NC, step grandchildren, Wayne Theis and wife Kristin of Shelby, NC, Andrew Theis and wife Tabatha of Lexington, NC, and Tabitha Hamrick and Husband Jarrod of Shelby, NC, great grandchildren, Josiah Huggins, Christopher Freels, Jayse Campbell, and Charlotte Campbell, step great grandchildren, Carlie Hamrick, Kelsey Hamrick, Lexi Hamrick, Easton Theis, Gina Renee Theis, and Courtney Theis, a brother, Forest Bridges and wife Dorothy of Shelby, NC, and two sisters, Marie Hoyle of Shelby, NC, and Doloris Adams and husband Mike of Spartanburg, SC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born August 30, 1929 in Cleveland County, Mrs. Ellis was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ocie Cooper Bridges and was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Wade and Merlin Bruce Hetzel, a daughter, Charlotte Wright, a grandson, Joshua Huggins, two brothers, Charles Bridges and Frank Bridges, and three sisters, Dot Curtis, Ruby Laws, and Wilda Bridges.
Mrs. Ellis was a member of Grover Church of God. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel conducted by Rev. Ron Hawkins. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset cemetery.
