Trudy Martin

Trudy Hardin Sisk Martin, age 70 of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Cherryville, NC.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Benny Martin of the home, two children, Richard Ray Martin of Shelby, NC, and Charity Brook Martin Lanasa and husband Michael of Taylors, SC, and a granddaughter, Lily Sunshine Martin.

Born May 3, 1951 in Marion, NC, Trudy was the daughter of the late Ray and Esther Hardin Sisk and was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Fowler.

Trudy loved nature which included walking the trails near her house.  She loved the Lord and her family which she dearly enjoyed spending time with.  She had a passion for the color yellow.  Trudy was deeply rooted in her Christian faith.  She was a member of the Jimmy Swaggart ministries.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the family.
