Violet Fredell Webster

Mrs. Violet Faith Fredell Webster, age 81 of Shelby, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Thomas Major Webster of the home, six children, Karen Rich Hudson, Toni Webster Gortney, Daniel Paul Rich, David Carles Rich, and Mark Webster, seven grandchildren, Katelyn Webster Wilson, Mark Stephen Webster, Terry Gortney, Jennifer Gortney Martin, Roland J. Gortney, Crystal Travis, and Joshua Hudson, nine great grandchildren, a brother, Jerry Fredell, five sisters, Shirley Bingham, Joyce Rector, Wanda Lynn, Teresa Lail, and Debra Coleman, and close friends, Thomas and Rachel Bledsoe.
She was born on October 30, 1937 in Burke County, NC, to the late John Thomas Fredell, Sr. and Florence Presnell Fredell and was preceded in death by a son, J. Keith Rich, a brother, John Thomas Fredell, Jr., and a sister, Judy Fredell.
Violet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, drawing, quilting, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
